FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Pricing & Deposits

Q: What is the cost to book?

To reserve your session, a $100 deposit is required.

Q: Does my deposit go toward the final tattoo price?

Yes, the deposit amount will be applied toward the final cost of the tattoo at our last session. When booking a multi-session piece, the deposit will be carried forward as you continue scheduling future appointments. Once you feel complete with the work, the deposit will then be applied to your final session.

Q: Is my deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to a new date once, as long as the rescheduling is requested more than 7 days before your appointment.

Q: How do I pay my deposit?

To ensure the highest level of safety and integrity in our booking process, we follow a multi-step verification system for all deposits. First, you’ll need to receive the go-ahead from us directly. Once you’ve been invited to proceed, you’ll visit the appropriate page on this website to submit your deposit. After payment, please email the artist you’re working with a random 4-digit code of your choosing. We will then mirror your code back to you in the same place our original conversation occurred, completing the authentication. Once this step is confirmed, we’ll move forward together into scheduling your sacred transformation.

Q: Is there a way to pay off my tattoo over time?

Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to make payments in advance at any time through the Tattoo Prepayment option in our online shop.

To help us keep accurate records, please screenshot each payment and send it to us directly. On the day you receive your intentional artwork, the remaining balance will be due—reflecting whatever has already been paid.

Q: Is there a minimum session rate?

Yes—the minimum session rate is equivalent to 1 hour of tattooing.

Ceremonial Tattooing

Q: What is Sacred or Ceremonial Tattooing?

This is the heart of what we do.

Ceremonial tattooing is the art of marking the body with intention. These are not just designs, they are messages.

From you, to you. To be remembered, lived, and honored.

Your session may include the creation of an altar using crystals, herbs, dried flowers, or sacred objects.

We may work with candlelight and anointing oils to call in the energy you wish to carry—self-love, freedom, wholeness, ease.

We may sip herbal tea from a local Appalachian garden or consult tarot to deepen the insight of your journey.

But most importantly, your voice is central.

We will collaborate on the design until it feels like the image sings back to you with recognition.

Q: What if the design isn’t ready on the day of the session?

If the design doesn’t yet feel aligned, we may choose to reschedule. In such cases, you’ll only be charged $50/hour for time spent drawing, and a new $100 deposit will be required to hold the next appointment.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Q: What if I need to cancel?

If you cancel due to illness or family emergency—no matter the timing—your deposit will carry forward once to a new date.

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up?

Yes, as long as you notify us 7 or more days before your appointment.

If the change is made with fewer than 7 days’ notice, the deposit will be forfeited and a new one will be required to rebook.

Q: What happens if I forget and don’t show up?

A no-show without communication breaks the circle of trust.

One forgotten appointment will be forgiven, but two will result in being blacklisted from future bookings.

We send reminders in advance to help you remember and arrive fully present.

Touch-Ups

Q: Can I get a touch-up if needed?

Yes—touch-ups are complimentary within the first 3 months of healing. These include fixes to lines or color already placed. Any additions will be priced separately.

Q: Are touch-ups free for white ink tattoos?

Not usually.

White ink often requires 2–3 sessions to reach full vibrancy. After the third session, touch-ups (if needed) may be offered without charge—but it’s rare they’ll be necessary by then.
